Dr. Patterson is a mainstay in the governance of our company. After enjoyed a 33-year career in Research, Engineering and Project Delivery with Shell, where he served as Executive Vice President of Engineering responsible for the engineering capability, capacity, standards, and associated technical assurance, he is willing to support our enterprise. 

Prior to being Executive Vice President of Engineering, he was Vice President of Deepwater Projects for Shell.

Dr. Patterson holds a PhD in Engineering Science and Mechanics from  the University of Florida.
